Moving the "DOCUMENTS" folder
Right click on "documents" in the start-menu and choosing "location" etc, was what I thought, until 10 seconds ago.Now I know to choose "desktop\bob\my documents", "Properties", "location", and saying "yes" to moving everything.Now is the time for Dancing!!!!But I sort of discovered it. And I wondered why doing it in the start-menu wasn't enough.

Chitbill, the same procedure applies to Windows Vista (see my website: http://www.winuser.co.uk/windows_vista_faq/72_move_documents_folder_to_new_location.html) Microsoft make these sort of thing a 'little' more difficult to prevent users inadvertantly changing the location which, if the solution was on the start menu, it would be easy to do.John Barnett MVP: Windows XP Associate Expert: Windows Desktop Experience: Web: http://www.winuser.co.uk; Web: http://xphelpandsupport.mvps.org; Web: http://vistasupport.mvps.org;
